Scope of Work:
Chef agrees to provide culinary services for Dinner Article's private dinner event, The Love We Don’t Talk About. Services include meal preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes for the event. The Chef will be compensated a base service fee of $200 for the event (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Any additional hours worked beyond the agreed time will be compensated at a rate of $50 per hour. Additional services requested by Dinner Article must be agreed upon in writing and may be subject to further compensation.

Equipment & Supplies:
Chef will be responsible for providing the necessary cookware and equipment to execute the menu, including but not limited to portable burners, knives, cutting boards, and any specialty tools required. Dinner Article will provide serving ware, tablescape items, and any other items agreed upon prior to the event.

Groceries:
Dinner Article will reimburse the Chef for the cost of groceries required to prepare the agreed-upon menu. The Chef agrees to purchase all necessary ingredients and retain the original itemized receipts. All receipts must be submitted to Dinner Article at the conclusion of the event for reimbursement.

Payment:
The Chef will be compensated $200 for the agreed service period (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM), payable via cash, check, or electronic payment upon completion of the event. Grocery expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of original itemized receipts.

Cancellation Policy:
If the event is canceled by Dinner Article within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the Chef will receive a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed-upon base service fee ($100). If the Chef cancels, they must provide notice at least five (5) days prior to the event.

Liability:
Chef agrees to perform all services in a safe, sanitary, and professional manner and is responsible for any damages caused by negligence or misuse of equipment.

Confidentiality:
Chef agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding Dinner Article’s business operations, guest lists, and any proprietary information disclosed during the course of the event.

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms outlined in this agreement
